Adjusting to leaving your homeland can be extremely challenging and frightening. Coaching does not end the moment you depart, it accompanies you when necessary throughout your tour and helps you prepare for returning once the tour is over.

Whatever your family status is, the moment you have the opportunity to take on a new role in another country and your family is accompanying you – it is also making sure that they are taken care of and become aware of the new adventures such as challenges which lie ahead. It’s the little things to help minimize culture shock as well as the new adventure ahead. It is exciting, overwhelming, challenging and an experience that will always be apart of your life that will be amazing.

Through Intercultural Coaching, my goal is to assist you when embarking on your new adventure either individually or with family members. Coaching helps you and your family to embrace what lies ahead and helps to minimize Culture Shock. It gives you the ground basis to build upon and breaks down the anxieties that one might have moving to an “unknown tour”. I will help with your spouse and children to understand what changes lie ahead from home, work, school, and free-time activities.

Intercultural Training involves preparing for your professional and social responsibilities in a foreign country as well as adapting, understanding and respecting the country and its people you will be meeting during the course of your Expat tour. It’s adjusting your work/life balance and knowing what is expected and where are the boundaries. It’s the art of communication that can make or break international business deals. It’s knowing where Small Talk begins and where it ends. It’s understanding the aspects of time. It’s learning to adjust and respect your new work environment, colleagues and helping you and your family build a quality life while living abroad.
